River Gauges

The National Weather Service, Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service monitors river gauges in the Pawtuxet River at Cranston and in the Blackstone River at Woonsocket. As a result of these gauges the Weather Forecast Office in Taunton, MA can provide hydrographs of the observed and forecasted water levels.

Tide Gauges

Through NOAA’s Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), you can view current observations from tidal stations throughout the country. These stations provide a variety of meteorological observations, like water levels, water temperatures, air temperatures, and wind speeds.
