The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA), in conjunction with the International Association of Emergency Managers, the Rhode Island Association of Emergency Managers (RIAEM), and the Community College of Rhode Island’s (CCRI) Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program, will be hosting the two-day Annual Preparedness Conference on August 10, 2016, through August 11, 2016, at CCRI’s Knight Campus.
This all-encompassing Preparedness Conference will address multiple emergency management-related topics. The theme of this year’s conference is “Be Rhody Ready.” The conference will consist of knowledgeable speakers, insightful training opportunities, forums in which attendees will be given the chance to speak one-on-one with subject matter experts, live demonstrations, and exhibitors throughout the two-day event.

Please note that the conference is invite-only and is geared for emergency managers, municipalities, and relative state agencies and non-governmental organizations.

Please note that the conference is a two-day day event and will start at 8:30 AM and end at 4:30 PM each day. Exhibitors must arrive to setup their display booths by 7:45 AM.
