The Public Assistance (PA) Grant Program provides supplemental federal disaster grant assistance to state, tribal, local governments and certain types of private non-profit (PNP) organizations involved in disaster operations or that suffered loss or damages to facilities or infrastructure. The grant can be used for costs associated with response and recovery from major disasters or emergencies after a declared presidential declaration.
